ANNOUNCEMENTS
ACTING ASSISTANT DS APPOINTED
Rev. Paul Cope has agreed to allow his name to be nominated for the position of Assistant
District Superintendent of the Western PA District of The Christian and Missionary Alliance.
Effective March 1, 2013, Rev. Cope will be the Acting Assistant DS. On September 12, 2013,
the delegates of District Conference will have opportunity to vote Rev. Cope to the position
of Assistant DS.
ANNUAL CHURCH REPORT
The Annual Report is now LIVE! The National Office sent each church the necessary
information to complete the report. Please take the time to complete the online

DOB - DISTRICT OPERATING BUDGET

NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE REPORT
Every year the district has to submit an Annual Church Participation Report for those
who are participating in the National Office health insurance. To compile the information
for the report each church needs to complete the "C&MA Alliance Benefits Report of
Eligible Churches" even if you do not have insurance through the National Office. This
report will only take 5 minutes so please complete it by February 11. (Have your user name

MILEAGE RATES FOR 2013
The Internal Revenue Service issued mileage rates for 2013 beginning January 1.
Mileage rates for the use of a car, van, pickups or panel trucks will be:
►56.5 cents per mile for business miles driven
►24 cents per mile driven for medical or moving purposes
►14 cents per mile driven in service of charitable organizations

ALLIANCE RESOURCES
The Alliance has announced a new partnership with
Christian Book Publishing (CBD). The partnership
expands services to Alliance churches by providing
online discounts as well as toll-free customer support
six days a week. The week of July 23, 2012 is the official
opening of www.thealliancestore.com.
Alliance resources for sale will be available only
at www.thealliancestore.com or by calling CBD at
1-800 Christian. All free resources will continue to be
available throuh the National Office Service Center at
877-284-3262 or service center@cmalliance.org.
